A Resolution to Institute Emergency Warning Systems via Social-networking Websites
WHEREAS: with regard to popularity and increased use of social-networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram); and
WHEREAS: notifying users of social-networking sites in a timely manner is key now that such a high percentage of Americans participate in social-networking; and
WHEREAS: many lives can be saved by utilizing the full potential of the websites that encourage social-networking
THEREFORE RESOLVED, be it resolved by this Student Congress here assembled that: The United States Congress draft legislation to institute emergency warning systems via social-networking websites.
