In today's episode of student news, the Nigerian petroleum gas subsidy removal was discussed. The Nigerian people are on strike and protesting the nearly doubled prices of petrol. I think that the Nigerian government is looking to the future, by removing this petroleum subsidy. To increase the country's growth, the money has to come from somewhere. So I think that in the long run, this could be a good thing for the Nigerian people as a whole.
