CNN Student News 1-18-2012

In the CNN Student News today they talked about pumping fuel into Nome, Alaska. The reason that they had to pump it in was because, with it being during one of the harshest winters on record, the Russian tanker that is delivering the fuel was not able to make it to the harbor. I think in order to solve this problem for the future, citzens of Nome should start looking at alternative sources of energy. Also, Russian companies that deliver the fuel need to take into account the weather!
